This site is dedicated to the memory of Brenda Clark.

Brenda was a prodigious fundraiser for the Lifeboats and other causes such as the British Legion and her local church. She ran the Bray guild of the RNLI for decades, raising tens of thousands of pounds through door-to-door sales of souvenirs, flag days, plants sales and tennis tournaments. She was a Life Governor of the RNLI and was received by both President Mary MacAleese and Queen Elizabeth II. She is pictured here with her late husband, Lt Col Brian Clark, who was national organiser of RNLI Ireland for many years. After a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease, Brenda passed away peacefully in Bloomfield nursing home, Dublin, on 16 November 2011. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends and all the other people who were touched by her life. She would be very grateful for any donations, no matter how small, that can be made to RNLI. The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. They provide a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of Ireland and Britain, manned by volunteers but with state-of-the-art equiipment. Please note RNLI are unable to charge in Euro on this site so cards will be debited in Sterling - if you prefer to pay in Euro, please ring Dubliln (01) 8951800 with your credit/debit card details or send a cheque marked "Brenda Clark forever by the sea fund" on the back and made payable to RNLI Ireland at Airside, Swords, FREEPOST, Co Dublin. Thank you for any support you can give to this tribute to Brenda.
